O imperativo em espanhol é um modo verbal que se presta a várias funções, entre elas dar ordens, conselhos, instruções etc. A gramática espanhola aborda o imperativo dividindo-o em formas afirmativas e negativas. A afirmativa apresenta verbos regulares e irregulares, e a negativa não possui irregularidades, pois se baseia na conjugação de outro modo verbal: o subjuntivo. Questões como o tratamento formal e informal e variedades linguísticas de determinadas regiões de fala hispana afetam a conjugação do imperativo.

Funções do modo imperativo
