Para passar para o interrogativo basta adicionar Do/Does no começo da frase (Does usado apenas para He/She/It).
Enquanto a forma negativa coloca-se don't/doesn't ou apenas adiciona-se not após o do/does (does not, do not).

No simple present os verbos são conjugados como no infinitivo, porém sem a partícula to. Exceto quando o sujeito está na terceira pessoa do singular (he - ele; she - ela; it - ele/ela).
Nos casos de exceção:
- Regra geral: acrescenta-se s no final do verbo. Ex: to like --> likes
- Verbo terminado em y precedido de vogal: acrescenta-se o s no final do verbo. Ex: to play --> plays
- Verbo terminado em y precedido de consoante: retira-se o y e acrescenta ies. Ex: cry - cries
- Verbo terminado em s, z, o, x, sh, ch: acrescenta-se o es. Ex: do --> does
