Be or not to be beautiful. this is not always an easy decision especially for women. most of the time sacrifices have to be made. in the 19 century, for exemple women used to wear very tight corsets to make the ir waists look thinner. in the working out in the gym to have a healthy appearance. beauty pattern also vary from culture to culture. in ancient china, girls used to their feet to keep them small. this deformer their foot bones and hurt a lot, but that was the price they had to pay to be beautiful some women in thailand and african wear rings around their necks to have the "giraffe" look abd they can't remove them because they run in the risk de breaking their necks.
